Poverty + Sex + Children = Child Prostitution

Posted by Unknown

I can barely contain my disgust over the documentaries I came across and watched. What started for me as a mere completion of requirements for this subject became a full-on awareness of how cruel the world can be for people who lack resources to empower themselves. I wanted to scream out loud and lose myself in tears for the grief I feel for the lost of innocence the children had to endure in their young lives. I asked myself how low can a person go to take advantage of a child’s need for basic necessities and take advantage of them by paying the sexual services with a small pittance.

Nakakahiya talaga.

What should have been provided to them without question became a means for the opportunistic creatures out there (yes, CREATURES! They do not have the right to call themselves human if they take advantage of the innocent!) to embroil these souls in a trade as old as time. A trade where you sell your soul to the devil  and  rent your bodies to the harsh usage of beings with no morals or dignity in them. Prostitution is cruel and harsh, a sad reality where nobody truly wins, where no one retains their morals and where everyone involved sinks deeper in the throes of evil.

To be honest, I see no end to this bitter cycle.

The only thing to do now for me is to light everyone’s candle and hopefully everyone starts the same and becomes enlightened to the plight of the young ones.

Hopefully, the flicker I share ignites a flame to enlighten us all.

Nothing personal...(a message to the haters of the current administration)

Nothing personal, but what do we know about running a country?
What do we know about government protocol?
Yes, it is sad that people died and many are hungry, but remember that the president is only human.
He is not God who can rebuild anything and everything with the snap of His fingers.
Remember that Rome wasn't built in a day. People keep on criticizing but can they honestly say that they can do better?
